We are looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to develop, manage and execute our marketing and communication strategy – both offline and online. As our brand champion, the ideal candidate will be a natural multi-tasker and a great communicator, with a passion for all things tech. They’ll have the opportunity to build, own, and execute our marketing strategy including  PR, content creation, brand management, social media, event management, and other marketing activities.

As an example, and among other areas, you would be responsible for/involved in:

  • Marketing Comms Strategy: Development, execution, and management of the fund’s marketing communications strategy.
  • Digital Marketing: Owning and maintaining the fund’s communication channels including company website, newsletter campaigns, and social media channels.
  • Press Relations: Managing the firm’s PR strategy and supporting the portfolio companies during their announcements.
  • Content Marketing: Writing/editing, and distribution of thought leadership content.
  • Brand Guardianship: Coordination and management of the firm’s visual identity, including the creation of marketing materials and collaboration with creative agencies and suppliers.
  • Event Management: Managing and delivering the events offering.
  • Investor Relations: Supporting the Partners with specific investor relations materials.

Candidate profile

  • Min of 6 years’ experience in a similar role within venture capital, accelerator, or fast growth startup.
  • Track record and exposure to PR, Content creation / contribution, brand management and design fundamentals.
  • Well versed and extensive knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics both at the strategic and operational level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English a must (native) and good command of Spanish or German a bonus.
  • An interest in entrepreneurship, technology and innovation.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams/departments and geographies.
